Confused about the selection process when hiring? This workshop will reduce the confusion and provide you with tools to help you make better hiring decisions, reduce your turnover and improve your organizations overall effectiveness.

During this program you will be introduced to the Leading From Your Strengths model and how it can help you assess the strengths you need for specific jobs and how to find those natural talents within your applicant pool.

The Law of Differences and how it applies to your organization

How to identify the eight main skills that apply to any job

How to screen applicants for the skills you need

Sample interview questions you can use immediately

How to make better decisions for the “right fit”

The principles that apply to hiring staff or coordinating volunteers

Jane Emberty has more than 25 years in the Human Resources profession, holding a variety of positions within hospitality, retail, higher education, government and non-profit organizations. Focusing on issues such as leadership, strategic planning, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, and training and development have provided extensive experience to effectively address most of the challenges facing employers today. Her dedication continues in the human resources field by providing consultation services to employers. Jane has been a member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) for more than fifteen years, holds certification in Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), and is certified at Level II in the Leading from Your Strengths program.
