We are happy to announce that Nonprofit Resource Center of Northern Arizona (NPRC) has joined with the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits. Thus, the current members of NPRC have become members of the Alliance, with full rights, privileges and benefits of Alliance membership as of April 1, 2009. NPRC members can continue to expect quality services, valuable information and training, and a high level of customer service, which have been hallmarks of NPRC since its founding 7 years ago. In addition, these members will enjoy an array of benefits and services and representation in public policy provided by the Alliance, a statewide organization dedicated to strengthening nonprofits in every corner of Arizona.

The Alliance celebrates the achievements and commitment to excellence demonstrated by NPRC as it developed and grew over the past several years. Nonprofits in northern Arizona have been well served by long-time NPRC Executive Director Christina Boyd and the members of the NPRC Advisory Board and Board of Directors. Because of their vision, leadership and commitment, the unique interests of northern Arizona nonprofits have been heard and articulated. The Alliance is committed to continuing to serve these interests, with the same level of dedication to unique regional issues as demonstrated in other parts of Arizona, such as the partnership with the Yuma Area Nonprofit Institute and local nonprofit groups in southern Arizona. To assure the smooth transition of NPRC perspectives and values into the Alliance, a Transition Task Force will meet throughout the next few months with the goals of examining the strengths of each organization and leveraging those for the benefit of all members.

Members of NPRC will soon receive their welcome packets from the Alliance, with information on all of the benefits and services they will begin receiving.
